Jacqui Pointon is a Midlands based 40 something using
her wealth of life experience and daft take on class and
current affairs. Her laid back style and everyday
musings turn out a warm and fuzzy set with rude
bits. She has been performing stand up comedy since
December 2007
Her first paid spot was supporting Rob Rouse at
Carnivale 69 in Hull. She did a 20 minute interview on
BBC radio Humberside to promote the night and herself.
'Promising new gagster with shedloads of confidence
and some ribald anecdotes'.

Anthony J Brown at theWakefield Arts Centre
Bootle Comedy and music festival 2008:
"JACQUI POINTON –
getting better all the time. Kicked off with
contemporary references – of course Iceland assets would
be frozen, and held them enthralled through to her
warbling end! Charming, authentic and getting the
laughs. What a bitch she’s proving."
"Jacqui is an endearing stand up, with a wit as sharp as
a razor, mix that with her likeable nature & a great
singing voice, the future isn't bright, the future's
Jacqui."
80's Luke (Salford Arts Theatre Friday 17th October)
Gareth Urwin
"I've seen Jacqui a few times and she definitely has the
best singing voice in comedy. Her medieval style
gangster rap always gets the room laughing."
